The State Secretariat of Youth and Employment, in collaboration with the National Employment Institute (INEP), has taken a significant step towards integrating young individuals into the job market. On August 18th, INEP's Director General, Juvenal Arcanjo Dengo, signed a memorandum of understanding with Cimentos de Moçambique as part of the implementation of the Projecta Jovem Program, funded by the Government of Mozambique in partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development, implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO). This partnership aims to promote paid pre-professional internships.
The event, which brought together partners, representatives from government institutions, businesses, and young interns, was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Ivete Ângela dos Anjos Ferrão Alane, Permanent Secretary of the State Secretariat of Youth and Employment, who delivered an inspiring speech on the occasion.
Other key participants included Cimentos of Mozambique' Human Resources Director, Preciosa Miambo, and Francesco Rubino, Projecta Jovem’ Project Manager. The partnership established between the State Secretariat of Youth and Employment and Cimentos de Moçambique promises to create new opportunities for young individuals seeking professional experience and growth in the job market.
This agreement represents a concrete step in the commitment to empower the youth of Mozambique, providing promising prospects for the professional future of these talented young individuals.
