Representatives of Projecta Jovem gathered on November 7 and 8 in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique, to conduct the Steering Committee meeting. The event aimed to monitor and evaluate the progress and implementation of the project's activities in 2023.
The meeting was chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADER), with the presence of the Director of the National Directorate for Local Economic Development (DNDEL). In addition to government representatives, the meeting actively involved the project team and implementation partners, including SEJE, INEP, IFPELAC, MITSS, OTM, CONSILMO, CTA, and REFP.
During the gathering, participants not only reviewed the progress to date but also shared positive results. Additionally, ideas for implementing project activities next year were discussed, maintaining a constructive optimism regarding future advancements.
The Steering Committee meeting provided a valuable opportunity to promote collaboration and coordination among stakeholders, aiming for the advancement of Projecta Jovem initiatives and, consequently, socioeconomic development in the northern region of Mozambique.
