In the month of June, the Niassa province witnessed a significant milestone in its socio- economic development. Projecta Jovem, an innovative project focused on empowering vulnerable youth, conducted a training that is changing lives and driving the local agribusiness.
The fish handling course, trained 40 youth from the districts of Lichinga, Mandimba, and Cuamba. This training resulted in the establishment of ten Fish Handling Units, providing not only employment opportunities but also strengthening the local food production chain.
These young entrepreneurs are becoming the architects of their own success, with enhanced technical skills and a profound understanding of the fish industry. Through the promotion of entrepreneurship, they are becoming agents of transformation in their communities, contributing to a promising future for the entire province.
Projecta Jovem reaffirms its commitment to building a more prosperous and empowered Mozambique by investing in skill development and creating opportunities. With the collaboration of all stakeholders, the project will continue its journey towards success, empowering more young entrepreneurs and propelling sustainable growth in the region.
